Has anyone completed this trophy and if yes how? I have yet to see it and have the 3rd upgrade on the kitchen.

To complete it you just follow an adult around or keep an eye on their actions. When you see the action box say "Making a Latte," just praise them. It will then say COMPLETED: Lotte Latte!

"Making a Grand Latte" is a random status on an adult. Sadly it isn't triggered by dropping them anywhere special, but I always drop mine in the kitchen just in case.

My first family still doesn't have this achievement, but my second family does. They still have the first kitchen also (I can't afford upgrades yet) so you don't need kitchen 3 to make a latte.

i'm convinced this only happens in the morning, at least for me. after playing this game with the same families since the day it came out, i finally got the trophy in all three families just a few moments ago. one of the peeps started making coffee, and i praised that hoping it would lead him to make a latte. it took a while, but he did it. i guess they all needed that early morning jolt!

It happened for me on a new family just after I purchased organic dairy for them (it was on sale.) As you say, it was in the morning.

I had 8 families, 5 in 3rd gen and 3 in 4th gen that were all erased in an update and never got this trophy.. until now.

I wanted to add that I had two brand new families get this trophy today. I had not purchased groceries for either of them and in one case I had not even placed the free groceries on the counter for them yet. So it does not seem to be related to what groceries they have at all. But in both cases it was morning. The first was around 7:30 am and the second was around 10:30 am. Also, in both cases a meal had just been prepared but they had not yet eaten. In one family I had both the male and female do it. heh

Does anyone know how to get a person to drink a Latte? I've put them by the coffeemaker and praised them for getting a drink but they don't have Lattes, so I'm clueless. Thanks, I'm new here and this is my first post.

It's something they'll usually do in the morning. For me it's around 9-10 AM. Look here for some additional tips.

If you can't play in the morning, you may go to Menu/Options and Reverse Day/Night. You 'll be 7:00 AM at 7:00 in the evening!
