So I am trying something new. My (virtual) family is now vegan and so far no complaints! For you who dont know vegans are people who dont eat meat or dairy or eggs. If that dosent work Ill try just vegetarians. Hopefully I don't get a meat lover! More vegetable lovers would make it easy!

Haha. It is definitely cheaper being vegan in VF. I had one family go vegan because neither parent were interested in building up their careers.
Although they are still on their 1st or 2nd level jobs, they are much healthier than my other families. =)

Very accurate to RL. Vegans typically are healthier! I wonder how my family will fair.

I think it does make a difference. A kid from one of my families gets sick very often so I switched them to vegetarian (not vegan mind you) and he's much healthier now. Its been two 'years' since he's last been sick.

Both my families threw the fish out anyway, so now they're are vegetarians, no more meat or fish. Haven't had any complaint.

Its really funny though. Coz despite being vegan/vegetarian, whenever they throw out old food or 'what's that funny smell?' mood, they ONLY throw out fish!

I hope it works out them being vegan. I am vegetarian / vegan thought my vf family should try.

Yea, mine too. I tried it after reading this thread and have already given up and let them have the dairy and the meat too. For one, mine wouldn't stay elated, just kept slipping back to happy. On top of that, in one of the two families that I tried it, they already both got sick once and their health bars are lower (in both families) than in all my other families that have always been eating all four food groups. I really don't think feeding them a vegan or a vegetarian diet actually makes them healthier in this game. Maybe it does in real life, but I don't see the evidence of it in my game and I can't stand those emails, lol!

I will have to pay closer attention to that. I have only noticed them throwing out these gigantic fish. I don't blame them, there's nothing worse than fish smell... Ewww

Mine havent complained once! all are very healthy and happy. Maybe its just not cut out frosome
