I'm having the same problem... I'm in the 3rd generation - had 6 children on the first 2, but I'm having problems on this one. I've only got 4 children so far and there's no way of having another one. Both parents want children, I've gave that red shot and nothing...
Btw, in Virtual Villagers they women stop having babies at 50. Is it the same thing in Virtual Families? Or if it's not, how old they must be? Thanx

I don't know how to resolve the "too soon" problem, but I found out how to make them try when they can't agree, I decided to try punishing them while they were arguing, then I put them together again and they didn't argue anymore.

I'm on my 4th generation in one family. Fred definitely wants kids and Wilma said maybe. After having a peep, everytime I tried to make to make it happen, they would just argue. I would give her shower, some perfume, lether eat, rest, everything I could think of to make it happen. Finally I just let them argue until she agreed and guess what triplets!!!! I also noticed that since I upgraded to the .0.5 version I hardly get the 'events' to adopt an orphan left at my door...has anyone else noticed this?

I am on my third generation and I want to see if I can get them to have a 6 child. I put them to keep trying and still failed to have a baby She is age 42 and Rebacca and Du that is. After trying twice. Then they say No I try again a few hours later and still no baby. So I paused the game until the following day so they not get too old and I tried again and again and still failed. When you get a doctor's consulton. Whens the best time to use it. When they say no or trying or anytime as long as they are well. I don't want to get the wrong massage.

Thank you for any help anyone comes up with. Unless I might hope that the next genaration have 6 children.

I think the gender is random. I haven't noticed that there's a big drop in how many babies they have in each generation.I have a 3rd generation family on the go and they've all had 6 kids. I HAVE noticed though that in some of my games I'm encouraging less babies if the mom seems to have a high paying job. I've started alternating one family to be baby making machines and the next to have a few to carry on but mostly using them to save up money. (I hope that makes sense) I'm having fun experimenting though. I haven't had any triplets yet. The most multiples I've come across is my family that had 2 sets of twins. ALL girls and then the next generation had 6 kids, 5 of them girls, hehe.

Well, Rita and Boonie are now almost on their 50s and they had only 4 children... I gave up. tired

About triplets, I'm still waiting here... I got twins and an adopted child on my first generation (6 children - 2 boys, 4 girls), 6 children on my second (4 girls, 2 boys), and now on my third they only had 4 children (3 girls, 1 boy).

And, just for you to know, that red injection didn't work for my guys. I spent $500 for nothing... frown

I have 5 families and it FRUSTRATES me that when a child turns two and is no longer being carried by Mom, the parents don't want to have another child! I want all my families to have 6 kids each...I LOVE having a full house. Any ideas on how to bring the fire back into a marriage?

Sometimes having them put on perfume/cologne right before babymaking puts them in the mood. Doesn't always work though. I also find giving the dad the baby boost helps better than giving it to the mom.
