I bought Fish Tycoon a while back and since I have been playing Virtual Families I thought it would be fun to play Fish Tycoon again, but its gone from my computer. Is there any way I can contact customer service to see if there is a purchase record?

If you're sure that you had Fish Tycoon installed previously on the computer that you're using now, and it's a Windows computer (not a Mac), then all you need to do is download and install the free trial from the same site where you originally purchased it. Your activation information is stored in the Windows registry and is most likely still there.

I am sure I had it, not sure now though where I downloaded it from. But I had to reformat like 6 months ago, would that have wiped out the registry?

If you reformatted your hard drive, and reinstalled Windows, then yes, the registry entry for your game was deleted, too.

Most game sites maintain records of purchases, and methods for verifying purchases vary from site to site. You should find this answer in our Support FAQ helpful in determining how to recover your activation information. smile

OK I will check into it, thank you smile Somehow my villagers game survived the reformat, I was surprised.

Thanks lady, I have had the same problem with plant tycoon. The game showed up when I did a search but not my registry code. I whas lucky I could find The purchase code and the date of buying in the history of payings by paypal.
If I didn't bumped into this topic I should have bought a new one.
Now I saved money for another game of your site. Two thumbs up.
