I know how to have ghosts in the house. All you have to do is while they are dying and waving goodbye give the ghosts and them a scold with the red glove and the ghosts and the person run away. The bad news is that the family has no idea the person is there. Also the ghosts only watch tv and make breakfast for themselves. You cant even pick them up and they eat all of your food, but if you log off or leave them alone they die again.

That's too bad. I think it would be great to have a ghost in the house...as long as s/he doesn't eat anything! wink

I am on my 5th gen on 4 games and one of them is getting ready to go to the 6th. I have had 2 couples in the same family (3rd & 4th gen) pass away together and not separately. It is nice for them, but hard when they leave kids behind. This is also the same family that I cannot get to live passed 57 for 3 generations and finally the 4th gen they made it to 58. I have others that have made it to 60 and 62 but that is it. I feed them all organics, fruit, vitamins, put them to bed when exhausted, etc and still no luck. all early 'sleepers' I guess. So far I haven't 'lost' any kids, just parents.

I have never actually witness the death of one of my peeps. They always die while I am out of the game and the next time I check on them, they are already dead on the bed.

What I want to ask is, how do you for sure know how old they were when they died? I don't see where it tells their age on the family screen details. I might know how old they were the last time I visited them, but several hours or even an overnight may pass before I go back and then find them deceased. I see people posting how old their people were when they died; I just wondered how you know. Thx.

If we dont actually see them die, we take the age that they were the last time we saw them and then (2 hours =1 Yr.) we basically estimate how old they might have been. The oldest i have ever seen mine is 71 and she passed about an hour later. (she outlived her husband by 6 years) If i go to bed and mine are 65, come back 8 hours later, I assume they were about 67 when they died. although they actually could have been 69. Hope this Helps..

But they don't actually age 1 year for every two hours. They do go from birth to two years old in only 4 hours, but from that point on they actually age 6 years in 24 hours -- which comes out to about 1 year for every 4 hours. So, if a peep was 71 an hour earlier and then gone an hour later, they still could have been 71 or if they were just about to turn 72 then maybe they did, but sadly, we have no way to tell. I just count the last year I saw unless it was from the evening before and then I figure maybe one or two years older as a "guesstimate."
