My tip: Give your people good candy to encourage specific behaviors. After giving the parents candy for working on their careers, I now have workaholics.

does anyone out there know how to get the peeps to watch a movie together

What I do is I first get them all watching TV so they are already all in the same room. To do that, just pick them up one by one and drop them in front of the television and they'll find a spot to sit and watch it.

Once they are all sitting, give the movie to one of them. That will cause that one to get up and walk towards the t.v. and then they will all watch the movie together. It's supposed to raise happiness, right? I haven't noticed any real difference, but that might just be something weird in my game. If you are trying to make a kid happy, try praising it for playing, give fruit and candy to the child, you can also drop one of the parents on the child and they will either tickle the child or they will read a story to the child. Slowly but surely, the childs mood will improve.

Actually giving one of them the movie is enough for everyone in the family to start running towards the TV and then they all watch it together, you don't really need to pick them up one by one

I have found that if I leave the game running but shut down all night WITHOUT PEEKING, everyone is well-rested in the morning and they've made lots of money! Just make sure the fridge is stocked!

Also, continued training of the actions you want them to do regardless if they're good or bad.

Hold off a day or two before you buy upgrades. Only buy things you absolutely need like groceries or medicine. this will help you with money making. 10% interest adds up fast!!

One thing I've started doing is when I want a particular behavior, like for a trophy, I move the peep to a particular area, like the kitchen if I would like them to do dishes, and pick up the peep and set them down to start a new behavior. I just keep doing this until eventually the behavior I'm looking for appears.

I like doing this because it gives me a chance to praise certain behaviors like cleaning after a meal or doing the dishes until eventually they are more likely to do it themselves.

I got lucky with this and found nursing moms will do floor repairs! You can't put her on the repair but you can pick her up and set her down until she decides to do it on her own...then praise her
