I was wondering of there was a kind of mod or something to oversize the maximum population.

Does anyone know such a mod?

The game is programmed to support a limited population, and mods can't affect the game's programming. It's possible for twins or triplets to temporarily increase population size above the breeding limit; however tampering with the population size can cause game instability and crashing.
