I tried searching but probably missed it (sorry)...my "meal" has been sitting on the table forever. No one is hungry (fully fed) but no one will clean it up...

What am I doing wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong. Cleaning up a meal is a random action that your peeps will do on their own. (Sometimes, I can get mine to start by repeatedly dropping them in the middle of the kitchen, until they clean up the meal.) My method, however, does *not* work all of the time. Good luck

I have noticed that the more I train my people in cleaning the counters and such then they will just automatically clean up after a meal once the meal is all consumed. I generally get a couple of feedings out of the meal with a large family.

So, it's sorta like real life when you can't get your family to clean up either!!

My meal always disappears automatically when I exit the game. It's never there when I return ...

At least it doesn't get cold!

I wish that would work at my house! Just leave the property when I'm done eating, and return to the kitchen to find it all cleaned up!


In my games, I do a combination of dropping and praising to train them to clean up. After a while, they do it on their own. Now, if only I could convince my real-life family to do it with just a piece of candy and a few words of praise...
