I'm trying to compile a list of the praising behaviors and suggestions...

So far I have:

Boob Tube -
Click to reveal..
this is a behavior the peeps start on their own. When you notice them walking toward the TV to turn it off...praise them. The TV being on increases the chances one will turn it off.

Caring and Feeding -
Click to reveal..
Have one of the peeps start to prepare a meal in the kitchen then praise them while they are working on it. This doesn't work for making breakfast or looking for snacks. But it does work if they are bbq'ing on the front porch

Sleeping Dragon -
Click to reveal..
They go to the back yard outside the kitchen door and practice kung fu. You can drop them in this area several times to encourage them self-starting this behavior.

Everything in its place -
Click to reveal..
The peeps will self-start dusting the nightstand in the master bedroom specifically. This differs from general dusting or organizing the closet.

Go-pher It! -
Click to reveal..
The kids will self-start chasing gophers on front lawn by sand box and birdbath. A gopher will pop out of a hole in the lawn and the kids will move towards it. This one can take several tries as it is sometimes hard to tell if they are playing or chasing. You can encourage this behavior by dropping them on this area of the lawn several times.

That Funky Smell - haven't had this one yet

Lotta Latte -
Click to reveal..
You need a lvl 3 kitchen upgrade and the peeps will make a grand latte on their own between the kitchen sink and refridgerator. Making coffee doesn't count and I'm not sure if dropping them on/near the maker helps.

1000 Strokes -
Click to reveal..
The peeps will start brushing their hair on their own in front of the bathroom mirror. Washing hair, brushing teeth or admiring self doesn't count.

Fire Stopper -
Click to reveal..
The peeps will self-start and put out a smoking oven. Preparing meals gets them to turn on the stove/oven. You can encourage the trophy by stopping them from turning off the stove/oven after cooking. Turning off the stove/oven is also a self-start behavior.

If you see any need for corrections or have anything to add, please let me know. I want to be sure it's right before offering it for help.

Lotta Latte : several people told me they got this trophy at the beginning of the game and didn't need any upgrades (trying to be as vague as I can, still looking for how to make spoiler tags, sorry).

Lotta Latte -
Click to reveal..
The peep will go to the corner of the kitchen with "making a grande latte" as an action line. This is a self-start action and I don't know of a way to encourage it. Some peeps like coffee, and some don't! wink It doesn't require a kitchen upgrade.

That funky smell -
Click to reveal..
The peep will go to the fridge with "Looking for strange smell" as an action line. This is a self-start action and I don't know of a way to encourage it. The peep will open the fridge, kneel down, and bring out a fish. They will then say "No!" and drop the fish in the trash can.

When you make a reply there is an S with a line through it in the gray tool bar at the top of the reply box. This is the spoiler tag.

Just highlight the spoiler material and click the tag. You can add or delete material, just remember that all info you want to hide is between the beginning and end of the tag.

Or you can just type:
after the last word of your spoiler and
before the first word.

Thanks so much for the help to you and Arnie and Xay! smile

bethlham, here's the spoiler for "That Funky Smell"
Click to reveal..
They will go to the fridg to see what's smelling funny and pull out a fish. They'll turn toward you with the fish in their hands. Praise them for it, and you'll get the trophy.
Don't worry when they do this, as it doesn't take away from your food points.

From what I can tell, all of the actions are self-starting. You can "encourage" a couple of the behaviors
Click to reveal..
leaving the tv on and dropping an adult in front of the table in the kichen and MAYBE discouraging "turning off the oven"
but for just about all the others, I don't think you can "make" them do these things. Random acts, don'tcha know! crazy

I've gotten the kung fu and lotte in the first generation of 3 of my fams, but still waiting for them in the 3rd gen of 2 others!

Cleaning Cobwebs:
Click to reveal..
Drag your little person to the right sink in the bathroom. You should see a very faint web. Keep on dragging your person to the cobweb,I usually drag them to the small corner that seperates the bathroom and the hall. Once their action is "Cleaning Cobweb" praise them smile

I believe with spoiler in the title of the thread, we are safe to post without spoiler tags. However, I'll keep with the rest of the group and use them anyway. smile

Time of day matters:
Click to reveal..
Our little peeps will only perform certain actions at certain times of the day. Making a grande latte and practicing kung fu seem to be two of those things. They will only make a grande latte early in the morning. It requires no kitchen upgrades and no special groceries - I've gotten the trophy on a brand new family that had not even been given the free groceries yet.

The action tags are:
Click to reveal..
Boob Tube - "Turning off the TV"
Care and Feeding - "Preparing a Meal"
Sleeping Dragon - "Practicing Kung Fu"
Everything In It's Place - "Cleaning the Nightstand"
Go-Pher It - "Playing On the Lawn"
That Funky Smell - "Checking Out Strange Smell"
Lotta Latte - "Making a Grande Latte"
1000 Strokes - "Brushing Hair"
Fire Stopper - "Putting Out an Oven Fire"

As far as I know, cleaning cobwebs does not require praising. I believe it is automatic the first time you clean one.

Oh, I didn't mean it as a correction to you. I just didn't want people thinking it was required for the praising trophy. smile
