It's not minutes, it's hours in real time. Let your people sleep at night, and in the morning they should be fine. (Roughly 8 hours or more)

I usually make certain they are all in bed when I turn the game off for the night (theirs as you can change the daylight setting). If they are tired during the day, you can either "put them to bed" or have them relax in some fashion - watching TV or relaxing on the hammock. They will also 'nap' and "go to bed' on their own when they are exhausted and do it more often if you remember to praise them lavishly if you see them do it while you are watching them. Some activities help them recover energy.

magesteff, I don't think you need to make them go to bed or even praising them to go to bed. They will recover the same amount of energy either way. I extensively tested that, so I'm pretty sure. It seemed to make a difference in earlier versions, and I was doing that myself, but not the new .5 version. Just closing the game is enough.

But watching them curl into bed at 10pm is priceless though, that's for sure! LOL

You must leave the game unpaused, but you can turn it off by exiting the game.

Emri, I have two seperate games running all the time now. One on my normal user name and one on a separate user name. I am not currently working and am home all the time, so the user name I use the most has my peeps that are set so it's daytime for them when it's daytime for me.

If I can't sleep, I switch to the other username and those peeps are set so that when it's nighttime for me, it's daytime for them. When I play them, they are always full of energy too, but that's because I don't switch to that user name until it's at least 5:30 or 6:00 in the evening where I live -- which is 5:30 or 6:00 in the morning for them and they are just waking up from a good "nights" rest in a game that was not opened all day long.

So, switching their hours around really depends on how you use the game. But they do become well rested even if you switch their hours as long as you're not opening that game up during your daytime.

Well, I left the game unpaused and I exited. When I returned I found my two people exhuasted even after I put them to bed. crazy The weren't "going to bed" either.

How long did you leave the game alone, Miss Monkey? They don't get well rested if you check on them every hour or more. smile

Every few minutes blush , but I'm worried that they won't get any rest at all if they keep on jumping out of bed.
