Just adjust the PC time, I normally turn an hour each time, that will get more chances to receive the email that come with rewards!

BUT it can mess up your game AND certain programs on your computer! I DO NOT advise it.

Time travel is considered to be cheating, and is not encouraged, nor is it supported if it messes up your computer or the game.

While many people do adjust their system clocks to speed up play, doing so affects far more than just the games. Every application in your computer is affected, including the file system and Windows system applications. For all of those reasons, we do not recommend changing your computer's system clock to speed up game play.

As the above posts, I agree, if I did it I would feel like I was cheating and feel I am not really connecting with my little people. Get what I mean? Lol.

I like the slow pace. This is not a game where speed is necessary.

I will freely admit I time travel and don't feel it's cheating at all. I've done it to make store restocks faster, to hurry to the next generation, and to force faster marriage proposals. It gets boring waiting for these things.

VV had an option of chosing fast or slow, ofcourse it did not move as fast as time travel but maybe if VF had that option it would help those of us who lack the patience virtue. I did find that Outlook gave me errors when I tried to timetravel and check e-mail. I had to uninstall and re-install so, I stopped doing it.

I had that problem a lot, especially as I played on my Palm device, and more recently, my Ipod...I sometimes leave these devices alone for a few days and forget I did not pause the villagers! shocked
Still, I wouldn't mind the option to play at a faster speed, although it seems time does move slightly faster than the regular speed of Virtual Villagers (unless it's my imagination).
