Here is a very strange one. I set my 57 year old mom to clean a spot on the floor at the top of the stairs. I looked somewhere else and when I looked back she was sliding down the top stairs, across the floor towards the door, down the lower stairs and out to the front porch - ALL ON HER KNEES.

If this is a new item added to .05, I can hardly wait to see the rest.

I don't think it's just from version .05 because I haven't installed that one yet and I've seen that about 4 times now. Although mine were actually standing, but they "floated" or "slid" across the floor instead of walking. Really creepy looking, isn't it?

I just checked and mine is still version .04, but when I put the antispam into the computer, they both slid down those stairs going from the hall with the bedrooms/bathroom down towards the den/laundry room. So, it definitely happens with the .04 version as well.

Very strange. It was the first time I saw it.
Strange for someone 57 years old.

how do you update the version. I have 01 and I looked to start a new game and I do not have that option, only 'start over'.

ukseniorlady, if you have the Windows version, just go to the page where you can download the "trial" version, download it again and install it. It will install the latest version over your current version. Don't worry though, it won't actually be the trial version if you already bought the game and you'll still be able to play like normal.

From what I've read, if you have a Mac you must let the staff at LDW know that you need the latest version and they will send it to you. Although that was a couple of days ago so I'm not sure if that's still the case or not. I'll edit this post if I can find out more.

I found a link on this site about updating to the latest version:

Oh, you're welcome, it wasn't any problem. smile Have fun!

chinckley -- that's what I thought when I read that, too! lol! Mine have done it several times, but they were always standing up, not on their knees. That would have been really weird to see, wouldn't it?
