So, since part of the object is to train your people, what all have you trained your little friends to do or not do?

I couldn't stand watching my friends run around constantly "not feeling fresh" so I started rewarding them anytime they showered all by themself. Now, in the 5 games I am running, I very rarely see "not feeling fresh" and when I do, normally they little person is heading for a shower. So glad they figured out how to take a shower without my help!

smile I'll have to try that as I don't like seeing the "not feeling fresh" either. I have a thing about flossing and brushing after eating. I know...I'm a little odd, lol! Anyway, I starting having mine floss and brush after they finished eating -- before cleaning up the meal as many times others were still eating anyway.

I have noticed that in the first families where I started doing that, most of them now go do it on their own when they are finished and the last person almost always wants to "clean up after a meal" as soon as they are done flossing and brushing.

Maybe I'm just imagining it, but I think they have actually "learned" my routine. wink

I have figured out that it's pointless to waste time trying to train them off watching TV. I tried an experiment where I did nothing but stuff one poor dude with the nasty candy and smack him around with the red glove, but he never took the hint. Maybe he was unusually dumb, but based on other observation, you can't train them off TV.

I'm training my kids to only do outdoor activities except for showering, eating & dancing. They are, so far, spending a lot of time outside exploring, playing in the sand & feeding/calling the birds.

I didn't use the red glove at all for a day or two, as I was trying not to, but one kid wanted to keep banging dishes no matter how many times I dragged him away. I've even had the Father who bothered the fish, so I ended up using it! laugh
