It is interesting that these people will prepare a meal and put it on the table, and the run off to do something else instead of sitting down to eat. I wish they would automatically sit down and eat once they finish making the meal.

I agree!! I hate picking them up one by one to eat in a family of 7.

If you train them to join the table, when they are reasonably hungry they will come by themselves much more often.
