New game started after .04 release:

During 'picking up a wrapper' when the character took it to the trashcan, it changed to 'watering the flowers' and I watched to see what was happening because the shed puzzle wasn't even solved yet so I didn't understand how he was going to do it.

Imagine my surprise when he pulls a green watering can out of the trashcan and wanders off to water the flowers!

Smart lil' ol techie me was going to grab a screen shot so LDW could see it, right? So I'm sitting at my desk in the office with my laptop with the game going next to me, working on my desktop when it happened and... well, let's just say hitting the spacebar on my PC did nothing for pausing the game on the laptop, and when I went into a panic trying to act quickly, the mouse on the PC didn't work on the laptop either!! So to heck with pausing it, I'll just Print Screen, he's still at the doorway of the house and not quite outside yet... yup, you're right that didn't work on the laptop either!

Needless to say, I didn't get the screen shot.. lol
(That was way embarrassing for me to admit to y'all, so no one laugh or I'll come throw wrappers all over your house!)

Final note: the flowers never got watered because the hose wan't fixed so he couldn't fill the can, but it looked like it would have been a complete process if the hose had already been fixed.

I JUST had something similar happen...but I did not see where the watering can came from.

When I scrolled to the 'dad' he had the can in his hand and was leaving the house by the back door "to water the flowers" - I watched him to see what he was going to do..when he got to the hose he 'was confused'.

No the hose was not fixed but the shed door was open.

I've had the watering can show up in the living room in the hands of dad and off he goes!

I had that happen after Dad finished working, he pulled the watering can out from under the desk and went off to water the plants near the gate.

I've seen that too. Both times I saw the peep leaving the house by the back door with the watering can in hand. Once she watered the roses, the other time another peep watered the flowers in the tubs near the front gate. They returned the can to the shed each time.

Mine like to get the watering can from the kids bedroom behind the bed. lol

It's a bug with that behavior that was supposed to have been corrected in 1.00.04. I'd say that didn't happen.

my peeps do it to but they get the watering can from the laundry room where the plunger is. i told the dad to fix the toilet and he pulled out a watering can and watered the flowers instead. the mom ended up fixing the toilet! Seems like its only the dads that find the watering can in strange places???
I guess if you want something done right you have to send the woman.

The peeps will pick up watering cans from wherever their last task ended, so it could be anywhere.
