Are you supposed to give it to both? I had a dad who kept getting sick so I finally paid for the doctor's diagnosis. Besides telling me what was wrong with this dad and which medicines to give to him, they also told me that if I wanted more kids that I should probably give him the baby boost as well.

I first cured him and let him rest for the night (closed my game, but didn't pause it) because he was so exhausted. The next day when I saw that he wasn't sick any longer and was well rested, I gave him the baby boost shot and then had them try. No baby. Not just no multiples, but no baby at all. So, I waited till later in the day and tried again. Still no baby.

I only gave the dad a shot though, so are you supposed to give the shot to both parents? Oh, and I've never had a multiple yet, plus I can rarely even get a second child at all and when I have, they were 6 years apart in one family and 7 years apart in other. Although I did have one family that got to adopt two kids. Not at the same time, but a little boy first and then a little girl and they turned out to only be 3 years apart in age. smile

When it comes to using Baby Boost, you really only have two choices: guesswork or paying for a doctor's consultation. The doctor's consultation will let you know for sure where Baby Boost might be useful. Guesswork can be expensive, but may be effective anyway. Regardless of which option you choose, multiples are still largely random. You could spend all of your money on Baby Boost and still not get twins or triplets.

Thank you, Lady, your comments will help. smile I really don't mind not getting any multiple births, I just wish I could get more single births is all. Oh well, I'll just keep trying.

With the baby boost I've had a couple of cases of triplets and a couple of cases of twins. The only time I've ever had problems making single babies is when one or both parents don't want kids...In that case you just have to keep trying. You have to wait about 15-20 minutes between tries though.

Well from what I read it doesn't always give you more than one baby. Its to help them get a baby to begin with. I read if you give it to them too much it can cause twins or trips.

Really, msnana? When you click on the baby boost in the game, it infers that if you give it more than once that it will reduce the effectiveness of it. For some reason, either from what that says or from reading something here on this forum, I assumed that if you gave it more than once it could make them infertile instead. I've only given each one the shot once. Although, that's just the females. I have only given the shot to one male so far and that was only because the doctor's report said he needed it.

The description says, "Note that repeated applications have a diminished effect." That means that each additional shot will be less effective than previous ones, but it does not have a negative effect on ability to have babies.

laugh Actually, LadyCFII, when I originally read that as I was looking everything over, I remember thinking that was what it meant. But then when I came here to these forums, I got the impression from something I read that it could end up making them infertile. I don't know why I thought that because from what it actually says, it's obvious that it just becomes less effective. I just wasn't positive whether you only needed to use it on one of the adults though or if it had to be used on both, but you explained that it only needed to be used on one to help.
