I've looked thru a good many thread titles and haven't found an answer to these questions - or even seen that they were asked before. If I missed 'em ... please forgive me.

1) when children study and/or do homework - does that help them in any way?

2) when children do hobbies - does that help them in any way?

3) when children play in the office, and other areas, does that help them in any way - toward their future job, etc?

I don't believe so. LadyCFII states in this post that when you are ready for a new generation, the children all get random ages, want of kids, and occupations. I think what the children do as actual kids is just cute and interesting
