Unfortunately, if you have a large family, they cannot "sit down to dinner" at the same time. You have to feed them in shifts!

Another thing that is disturbing to me is that if the couple (when it has no kids yet) doesn't sit next to each other when eating. They leave one free seat between each other instead... O.o

I think it would be nicer if the table could seat 8 and have the correct number of plates. Seems odd that in large families they have to take it in turn to eat.
