Where do you see what version you have loaded?
Everything I can find says v1 and I just did the "try it" upgrade and it is still showing v1??

From the readme file:
Fixed in 1.00.04
- People will sleep to a higher level of energy replenishment
- Adjustments made to offline food consumption, in-game hunger and eating
- Adjustments made to allow greater player influence on longevity
- Failsafe put in for refusal to breed
- Adjustments made to a couple of the more difficult trophies
Fixes in 1.00.03 [I don't think was released]
- Working is a bit less tiring, other changes to energy usage and recovery
- Fix to prevent glove loss/corruption
- Emails-to-player now correctly reflect customized names
- New pet behaviors
- Pets no longer show up in store rotation once purchased
- Store rotation now every 4 hours instead of 8
- Story book shop item works now I have to applaud LDW people! That's what I call high standard of customer service! I haven't seen such a thing for a long time. Most game developers provide half-done beta quality products and once in a few months feed players with worthless patches and fixes. Thank you a lot guys. I really appreciate the way you care about us.

They certainly do listen to us don't they?  It's nice to see a Company take customer feedback with such enthusiasm & you can tell they enjoy what they are doing!

Are you using a Mac? If so, you'll need to send in a support ticket to get a new link.
If you're using Windows, download the trial version.

Dragoness, the link from LDW's site with automatically give you the newest update. Once you download, click on the menu screen look at the bottom right hand side for the complete version number.
Yes, isn't it great to have a company that respects its customers, listens to what they are saying and respond. LDW is one of the rare ones. I wish all businesses everywhere had the commitment and morals as the LDW team; life would be so much nicer.
