Where can the new version (.04) be downloaded? I did a search, but can't find it.

The newest public version is .02.

The most recent version (at the moment) is 1.00.04.

For the Windows version, simply download a trial version from http://www.virtualfamilies.com/index.html and install it over your existing version.

For the Mac version I think you have to send in a support ticket to ask for another download link.

.04? When did this come out and where can I find announcements of future versions? I was still using .02. How many more updates will there be? I don't want to miss anything.

Barbara mentioned it had been updated in one of her posts - I can't recall which one - it wasn't specifically about an update. While the soft launch is going on LDW will release new versions containing tweaks and bugfixes from time to time, but they don't seem to be making special announcements each time.
