Once they complete there college education, do they acquire a career and get put into the pool of available adoptees? Or might I see them appear on a marriage proposal for someone in the future? Or are they out of the game forever once they go to college? Just wondering.

Once one of the parents dies you get to to choose one of their children to take over the house and start their own family.

I know, and I also know that when this happens, any remaining children disappear as well. I was asking about the ones who are old enough to be on their own---ones who have already left the home. It would be fun to see them reappear in the adoption pool or on a marriage proposal, once the have finished college and have a career of their own.

I don't think so. If they were in the marriage pool that would be kinda weird because they would end up marrying there family!` Yuck!
