It's very convenient that whenever a rare item appears on the lawn, and i dont notice it as im too busy cleaning up the piles of god knows what that appear every 15 seconds in the house, but this neighbor ALWAYS see's it, and E-mails me to hurry, he can see it from his window, after about the 4th time, i started getting creeped out , this guy does NOTHING but watch my house? All the time day and nite! he dosent miss ANYTHING! LOL

wow...CREEPY!! I only got that e-mail one time...it was a trick though there was no collectible

I got that several times. The last time, nothing was there.

My neighbor sent me a hammock! He said he "had an extra and wanted to know if I minded if he stored it in my yard". Of course I don't mind! :-)

I have to say something, NEIGHBOORS ARE JERKS!!! Once one of them asked me to put up a bird house in my area, and they took the money to make the bird house out of my money! Stpid neighboors. >:P

I've had the birdhouse event, the hammock event, and the email from the neighbor about rare collectibles about 50 times. Originally, I found the collectibles every time, but I haven't found one the last 10 times he sent that email.

i hate that guy, i wish he'd watch his own yard!

I like having a heads up on the collectables, and the free upgrades, but I agree that the neighbour is a FREAK! Can't we just meet him once for all his stalking us?

He must be using a pretty powerful telescope or binoculars as most of those collectibles are tiny!

Still, I've found plenty of rare collectibles on my own, without his help, so he doesn't spot them all. Also, why does he use email? Wouldn't it be more sensible to use the phone given that the collectible will disappear in a short while?

That's probbably what would happen if the neighbor called them.
I would enjoy that.

Whenever I get that email, I immediately hit the Space Bar to pause the game so the item doesn't disappear before I can find it. I've always been successful when I do it that way.

I wonder if there is a way to modify the email message to include something like, "Oh, and I also noticed that your daughter is jumping on the bed again"

Im not sure it works that way, usually in VV even if you pause it the collectables dissapear in a short while... but maybe its just in Virtual Villagers.

I agree with Annthewhofan! It takes a while for emails to get to my email!!! Or maybe hes just sycic and send the message before it happens

I've had a collectable there each time, and on another occasion, he informed my poor, creeped out family that he was inventing a weather machine, and to tell him if we saw it was working.

I think this neighbor is a little too involved with my family for never having met them...and how did he get their e-mail? And what is his REAL name? These answers remain a mystery...

I wonder why he needs to be told if his weather machine is working, anyway? If he can see ito our family's garden well enough to tell the difference between rare and other collectibles, surely he'd be able to see for himself?

Maybe in the next VF we can choos eour neighbor and if they "watch" us all the time or not. Or, ohh, we can get them to buy groceries in all that free time they use stalking us.

I would like to meet the nieghbor, i think it would be good if you could have people round to visit. Every time i've had the email telling me that their is a collectable, there never is.
