To install the new version...I followed all the instuctions and now downloading the (02 version)....but the download file still says that it is VF_v100 (something like that)....I backuped my games...but still I'm scared to install...is this normal? Or am I just redownloading the version I have?

I downloaded it (without backing up our games first, even) and had no problems at all. My peeps do lots of fun new things with the new version. It's worth it, IMO.

KaeChan, you are actually downloading the .02 version. You will see that once the download is done and open the game. Click on the menu button and you will see the new version number. Your save game files will work with the new version. Have no fear.

Since I loaded the game last weekend, it has locked up twice and the computer wouldn't start once. Is anyone else having trouble with the game? I have version 1.00.01. Do I have to purchase .02 version?

I have sinced deleted the 1.0 game, downloaded the new 1.02 game, now it says there is a virus or my harddrive is defective. So in other words, I can't even open the game now. I have taken my anti-virus off thinking it was not letting it open, no such luck. I have downloaded the game 3 times, deleted 3 times, and still no luck, I am very unhappy!!!

This is an update and there is no cost to you. You do not have to uninstall the game. Just go to the download link.

Diane, I haven't had any problems lately with the DRM; Awhile ago I was getting that error a lot. I did this and it helped; you could try this:

DEP: (Data Execution Prevention)
If you are receiving the DRM activator error message do the following to correct the issue.
1 - Left click on Start
2.- Right click on Computer
3 - Left click on Properties 4 - Left click on Advanced System Settings
5 - Under Performance click on Settings
6 - Left click on Data Performance Settings
7 - Click on TURN ON DEP FOR ESSENTIAL WINDOWS PROGRAMS AND SETTINGS ONLY.
8 - Click on Apply and then OK.

UAC: (User Account Control)
Open up Control Panel, and type in user account into the search box. You'll see the link for "Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off". Click it. Uncheck the box, and reboot your computer.
