where do you get the latest version and how much does it cost?

You should be able to get any updates from the same page you got the original game. Just download the installer again, and install it right over the top of the original game (make sure the game isn't running when you do this). It'll probably ask for the install key, but you can close that window and the game will be fine. (At least it was in my experience) And you don't have to pay anything!

There is no cost. Shut down your game and go to the VF site (where you originally bought the game) and click on the try it now button. Run the program and it will update your game. There should be no loss in your current games.
