A lot of my little people are a bit weak, weak, or extremely weak. They all had the full night's sleep last night and the night before, and there's lots of food. Benjamin and Damon have had a doctor's consultation and nothing is wrong, but they're still weak. Kate and Scott had underlying infections which I treated, but their health bars went nearly down to 0 after giving the antibiotics. They were sleeping but they got up as soon as the energy bar his about 1/4 full. They're not hungry. Is there anything I can do to make them better?

Also, one of my families won't make meals anymore, whenever I try to get them to cook they just "look for snacks". What's going on there?

Are you dropping the people in the family in the right place? Maybe not enough initiating/training on cooking meals and possibly not the right kinds of foods? Are you buying all 4 food groups? I haven't tried it, but if there isn't a variety of food to prepare meals with, all they will be able to do is snack.

Even though mine eat on their own, I still pull someone over everyday at dinnertime to make dinner and pull the whole family to the table to make sure that bar is 100% full, not just part way.

I don't know if this is the case with you at all, but from what I can tell, it looks like many people think that once a character or family does something a few times there is no more training to be done on that activity, but I don't think that's true. Like real life, people can fall out of habit and so can our families. smile

When you initiate a meal, drop them on the table/bar, not at the counter; that's where the process for preparing a meal is triggered.
Try using candy as the praising tool when you get the opportunity.
Make sure all 4 food groups are available, not just a lot of one.

Hope this helps a little, and keep us posted! smile

Right, figured out the meal thing. I was putting them in the wrong place - although it had always worked before.

But my people are still weak and not getting better.

I have noticed that if I put my person in front of the stove, they will sometimes start preparing a meal, but not always; they may just look for snacks. As SoulSmilen said, the best place to put them is at the table to initiate the meal preparation action.

I have an entire family that is weak they have over 2 thousand food. all 6 kids are weak or extremely weak (2 sets of tripplets) and the mother and father are weak or extremely weak to the only symptoms the family had were upset stomache, I gave them the pepto, and had a dr consult for the parents to see if they had something but they are fine........ I would hate for a family of 8 to die, I'm afraid to leave the computer and come back and find the whole family laying on their beds in repose.

I am having the same problem. My 5-yr old has a game going and i just went to check on them to make sure they were ok while she is at school. Didnt want her to come home and find her family dead as she was heartbroken when one of my characters died yesterday. I cured a few illnesses... fed them and made them sleep... but they are still in varying stages of "weak". Anyone have advice on how to fix the family?

Some of my kids were weak or extremely weak when they were young, but they seemed to grow out of it. Maybe, like real life, some children are just sickly - but nearly all of them live to grow up. :-)

All the suggestions made are good, just always make sure there is plenty of food before turning the game off.

Two upgrades seem to improve health. The bathroom upgrade & air purifier.
