Using a different sink. If you are using the kitchen sink, and he works in the kitchen, he might think you are trying to make him work. Drop him in front of the bathroom sink, and see what happens
Thanks, I wasn't thinking about kitchen careers. I'll try to remember that next time. I know I can't get them to clean the table or wash dishes either, but I praise them when they do so it'll get done.

To make anyone (kiddies included) do the dishes, pick them up and drag them over the kitchen sink so that their white selected circle hovers over the dishes in the sink. Then, drop them. Viola! They do dishes on command!
