Did it suffer health damage during that night? It probably suffered some damage but did not die.

Also note that the Fish's 'health meter' is like a car's gas-tank meter....when it says 'empty' there might still actually be a little gas left in the tank...

The Fed meter and the Health meter operate independently. A fish won't die until its Health meter has completely run out. If a fish is starving (the Fed meter is empty), it will steadily lose health until you feed it or it dies. In other words, both meters have to be empty before a fish will die of starvation.

Back to the Plurap of spotanus. It could be eiter spotanuses or spotani. the plural of cactus is cacti but the plural of virus is viruses, same with hippopotamus. But it's definitely not spotanus's in this case.
