What is the field of flowers good for? I know that they say they feel well there, but it doesn't seem to increase anything, or make them better when they are sick. Is it just to be pretty?

Thanks,
Rynn

The main benefit (other than looking better than it did) is the bonus you got when your villagers completed it.

Barbara, does it help the weakened villagers to become better and healthier if they frequent the flower garden?

No, it doesn't. Adding that kind of benefit from the flower garden would have significantly altered the game dynamics and the natural progression of the villagers' life spans.

Barbara, thanx for clearing it up. There has been talks abt letting them relax and enjoy the garden or lagoon will help nurse those weakened villagers back to health over at 1src. So I have always thought so.

I found the flower field handy for setting up liasons between a specific couple that I wanted to get together for genetic reasons. I'd drag the girl to the field, then the guy. They stay calm and relaxed while I click on "Breeding" in details. Then I let them out of the field to embrace. Once they've succeeded in creating a baby, I quickly drag the guy back into the field and click "Breeding" off or he starts running around embracing everyone.
