My family started with Zip. He is 54 now. He is handsome. He has 5 kids. (one adopted) He married Carmel( 54) who is ugly! First born was Bernard (handsome) who is in collage now. Next is Mary who is in collage is is really cute and sweet. She used to always take out bugs. Next is Paul ( ugly) he is 17 now. Next is Ally (cute) she is 9. Finally adopted Geko( ugly) he dresses formaly. Mary is going to inheriet the house.

I started with Spot, male with brown curly hair.
Spot Married:
Rubella has the orange hair, short hair cut.
They had:
Lucie female with curly blond hair
Franette female Brown hair, kind of looks like dreads
Oslo, male with short red hair
Adaware, female with shoulder length brown red hair
Dollar, female with longish purple hair
Kikolo, male with green spiky hair

completely random hair colors and styles, none are the same.

I am going 2 put the story on a family with a couple of friends. But it started with handsome Apollo and beautiful Juliette. They both wanted kids but they only had one real one. Who was Merissa, and adopted Alice. Both were gorgeus. But when they were very old, (and ugly too) they adopted a little boy: Jerry. Oops! Enough said!

I started with Felella, who married Zest. They had three daughters, Meteora, Mafalda and Soonella. Meteora inherited the house and married Lucky (the first guy who proposed) and they have a daughter named Alina. More bulletins as events warrant!

My family started with Brella -an engineer and Harry a rocket scientist. Loved her name. Their children: Gigo, Gregolo (who was adopted but a carbon copy of Harry) twins Baci and Kasier, then Franella and Marila. Gregolo was going to get the house but he decided No Way on kids, so Gigo got it instead. Was so sad to see Brella go.

My family started with Rusty (I then renamed her to Rain). She accepted the first marriage proposal she got, from a man named Paulory (who I renamed to Paulie after they got married). Soon after they got married they had a daughter, Marette (who got renamed to Marielle). When Marielle was 2, they had another baby named Bria (she's still a baby, when she becomes a child I'll rename her to Briar). Both girls are quite cute.
Right now, I think Rain is 29, Paulie is 28, Marielle is 3 and Briar, like I said above, is still a baby.

Meteora and Lucky have a very large family now. Two daughters, Alina and Sandrella, and four sons, Paulone, Logozo, Archie and Vector. (Archie and Vector are adopted.)

In my A MICI family (a new one I created a couple of days ago): I have Sephora who married Bulla and had two girls, Skye and Soonina.

In my family: Mina who married Floppy. For now they have 3 kids (all boys )- the firstborn is Linux (6), Tico (3) and the new baby Paulico.

The mom is Bella, I started with her. She married Edward. First born is Renesmee the "The Little Visitor" E.J.. E.J. went to star in a series of movies. We then have the youngest child, 2 years old, Muresme! I think I'm going to have another baby soon. Bella and Renesmee are both sick, sadly.

OK guys, I have the "no vacancy" trophy - Mina just got birth to two boys. So, my first generations is Mina (the only female ), Floppy (the father) and the six boys - Linux, Tico, Paulico, Astro and finally the twins - Tino and Cursor.



I hope in my second generation finally get that baby-girl that I want so much

Let's see, my first family started out with Aspen, she adopted a child, Marcor, who was left at her door before she got married. She then married Opus, who oddly enough, looked like Marcor though he was no relation. (Hmmm or maybe he WAS related, after all he was adopted...). Aspen soon gave birth to triplets Apollo, Metro, and Bin (who I renamed Ben). The triplets were soon followed by daughters Fra and Sigma. Sigma was "sold" to a talent scout or agent or something for $500 while she was still very young. After Aspen passed away around age 59, Opus was deeply depressed, and Sigma, holding a grudge all those years after being sent away, kicked Opus out into the old age home and claimed the house. LOL. Sigma is now married to a man named Hubby (he came with that name, as the rest of them did), and just had a baby named Fate. Sigma is pursuing a culinary career, while Hubby works in the workshop.

I also started another family, a woman named Wiki, which I think is hilarious as I happen to be very involved with Wikipedia at the moment, and she just happened to come with that name. She married a guy named Gregory, and after a lot of arguing and failed attempts, had a baby named Pop, who has much too hairy eyebrows for a small child. Oddly, Wiki sort of resembles Sigma in my other family. Currently Wiki is a poet and Gregory is a food critic.

how do you give your house to someone - i have 2 old people, kids gone

Seems like one of them has to die first. I'd rather just have them retire to Florida together.

OK, Wiki's family has really gone to pieces since I posted about them yesterday. They had one more baby, both children are brats who like to cause trouble, and they can't study together or they argue. (It doesn't say they are arguing, but I hear the same voices as when the parents don't agree on a baby, and both boys then run away). The father is always sick, the shower is leaking, and since Wiki is a poet, I need to have the children selling things to buy Daddy's medicine, at $5 a piece they are doing better than Mom.

I got the adopt event at last and this is she who I renamed Teresa, as I use to know at school many years ago who was an ophan. So I thought I name her after my friend from school. I never seen or heared from her since I left a long time ago. The parents were too old to have any more children as Mary was 54 and Du was 55 at the time and Teresa was age 3, she is age 5 when I took this.

Well, I just got the lite version of it (going to get the full version though), and I have Tu (the male) and Puma (female). They have a daughter called Pinki.

Currently, I have Jessania and Kiketto, both late fifties. They have 6 children - Buzz, who went to college a while ago (he was adopted) Dora, who also has been at college for ages, Cariana, a new college student (my personal favorite, she does everything!) Paulolo, only biological son, and Jessia and Soonania, best friends/sisters And a dog who follows the Dad around now that Cariana is gone.

I have this alphabet theme going.

My first generation was Annabel who married Arthur. They had 6 kids. Alice, Alexander, Adrian (adopted), Asher, Athena, and Amadeus.

I rolled a die and Athena inherited. I used a Greek/Roman god name theme for the next generation then, and she married a man named Bacchus and had one daughter named Bellona.

Bellona married a man named Bran and they had Beatrix, and my first twins, Bethany and Bridget, as well as Benjamin, Belinda, and Basil.

Basil won the die roll, so I use a plant/herb theme for his family to transition over to C. He married a woman named Camellia and they have a daughter named Cerise.

Cerise married a man named Calvin and adopted a daughter named Catriona, and have children together named Charles, Conor, Caleb, Celeste, and Coralie.

The winner of the die roll was Conor, so I went with an Irish theme for his family. He marries a woman named Deirdre and they had a daughter named Darina.

Darina married a man named David and have Dmitri, Diane, Deborah, Daphne, Dennis, and Damien. We'll see which one wins the die roll in a day or so.

Daphne is my favorite, so I'm rooting for her, but Damien or Dmitri are kind of cute too, and Diane and Deborah the purple haired twins are kind of growing on me. Dennis is not one of the better looking ones with messy hair and square glasses, but I like the suspense of rolling the die and having the choice to be random, so if he wins I'll just suck it up and go with him.

Still no triplets or perfect match so far. I'm hoping I'll have luck with either one of those soon. Collections are done for the family, so those are the hardest ones left for me trophy wise.

I just got the computer version, and my first adoptee is Elle She married Jacob, and they had a son, named Matthew. Matthew is now two, and Elle just gave birth to daughter Patricia.

I've got Renee and Patrick, who have Elsa, Elise, Eden, Eric, Ellis, and Elle. :] Elsa, Elise, and Eden all went to college. :]

Since several of my families had recently reached the final generation allowed, I have replaced them with all new families. I am trying to keep these new families each within a specific hair color line.

My one lady was turning down marriage proposals while awaiting a gentleman with black hair to carry on that family line. Well, today she got a proposal from a guy with light brown hair but, because of his career choice which was identical to hers, she readily married him and they now have child (with darker brown hair). Since the hubby didn't bring much money with him, they won the "marry for love" trophy as well as the "perfect match" trophy.

At least that hard-to-come-by "perfect match" trophy is out of the way for this family. It is the only trophy I still need on some of my older families.

As I mentioned in my previous post, when I recently began a new set of families, I was going to try to keep them each within a hair color scheme. This particular family was intended to be a blonde family. As you can see, my initial couple were clearly blonde. However, there only child has darker hair. When it came time for him to marry, I chose a blonde lady. For some reason, they are producing red-headed children.

Incidentally, I know there is a head chart available in this game, but I'm not that "into" the game to study it out and plan my people by it. I will take my chances and be surprised. And I truly am surprised how this family went from bright blonde to bright red.

Here's one of my current families, with my first Miss Rainbow. Hal is 3rd from the bottom on the heads chart, Vida is at the bottom. First came Spider, Hal and Vida's first born. He is a rare child because his placement on the head chart is 16-17 heads above his father. Carrera and Click are at the same level as their father Hal. Fabie and Maestro are at the same level as their mother Vida. Brodie is smack-dab in the middle of both her parents on the heads chart.

I know I'm going to have a hard time choosing who I want to inherit the house so now I'm thinking I'll just choose them all!

If I were you, I's choose Fabie. Rainbow girls are EXTREMELY rare!

I can choose them all, just not at the same time, by using backups. I plan on saving a copy of the file for that game slot after the parents pass (should be tomorrow sometime) and then choose Fabie to start the new generation. I can later use the backup to choose another of her siblings if I want.

Vida was my first rainbow-hair in the 5 families that I have. 3 of the families are in the 17th generation and are on Pause, 1 family already got the 100 trophies and then I have this family on generation 23.

Sadly Vida passed away last night and Hal followed her this evening. I chose Fabie to inherit the house and her very first marriage proposal was from Link (fondly known as Mr. Mohawk)! Most, if not all, of their children should be of the last 2 heads on the head chart.

Here they are enjoying their first meal together as a married couple... gazing into each others eyes... so much in love!

I think that what Link is actually saying is, "Why have you cooked so many meals for just the two of us, you silly person?"

I am playing the game with some self imposed rules which I describe here in more detail if anyone is curious.

Anyway, it came time to move on from the D children. I roll a die to determine who inherits. Unfortunately, my least favorite of the children ended up winning, Dennis. He has messy brownish hair and glasses. He also ended up being a wood carver but "wood" was one of his dislikes which cracked me up.

For his generation we're transferring from the D to E, so per my rules I needed to come up with a theme. I wanted to do something related to Dennis the Menace, but I couldn't locate other comic strip characters whose names begin with E that weren't very obscure characters. So I ended up settling with the theme that would require the name of his wife and child to be six letters long and contain double N's just like Dennis's name.

So he ended up marrying a woman named Evonne, a variation of the name Yvonne. I don't normally like using unconventional name spellings, but Evonne Goolagong Cawley is a rather inspirational real life story about a girl from a poor family who becomes a tennis star, so I decided to go with that.

After Dennis married Evonne, who had black hair and piercing blue eyes, they had daughter named Erinna who was named after the ancient female Greek poet. She unfortunately inherited her father's wild brown hair, but it at least managed to look cute on her. I went out of my way to make sure her job ended up being a poet like her namesake. When it came time to pick her as the new generation, I just kept reloading the game until it gave her the poet profession, and fortunately that didn't take too long.

Erinna was an only child who grows up and inherited the house and began the "E" generation. She married a cute young man named Ethan who had bright orange hair. Shortly after the birth of their first child, Edric, they adopted a poor abandoned girl named Eleanor. Edric had curly dark blond hair, and Eleanor had black hair and blue earrings. They then had twin boys named Eugene and Ezra, and another son after that named Eamon and finally a daughter named Emily, all of which had dark blond hair.

Die roll made Emily the inheritor. Emily is the distinctly English spelling derived from the Latin name Aemilius, so the theme I chose for her generation was English names that ended in the letter y. Just choosing English names made it too easy for me I felt, so I added the y condition to make it more of a challenge.

Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of English names that end in y and start with an F for boys. I ended up settling on the name Farley which comes from Old English and meant "fern clearing". It's usually a surname, but there is a Canadian author that has it as a first name, so I went with it. They had a cute orange haired, green eyed daughter named Felicity which is an English word that means "happiness".

Felicity now has inherited and married a cute blond haired blue eyed man named Francis. They have a bunch of blond haired kids which are named Finn, Felix, Fiona, Freya, and Frederick. Their last child was a surprise! The youngest was born a little girl with dark black hair. They named her Florence.

I'm hoping that Florence won't win the die roll. I want to marry one of her blond siblings to a man or woman farther down on the head list so I can try and get some members with more of the unusual colors like the blue haired girl and rainbow haired girl and the guy with the mohawk. If she does win though, oh well. Still plenty of generations to go.

I'm still missing the Perfect Match trophy and no triplets so far, alas. Here's hoping the upcoming G generation will finally give me at least one of those elusive trophies.

It started with Nappa who married Aketto. They had their first child Vulcano. Second was Carie. Third was Boi. Fourth was Sophila. Then the twins Mimi and Cocoa. All the girls have red hair like the father. All the boys have light brown hair like the mother.(all super cute)

It started with atlas who marryed junior that had 6 kids bit,sandorala,nap,bajou,hoot,and vector when atlas died I couln't wach junior die so I moved on I chose bajou ( the only one who wanted to have kids)

Bajou marryed glitch and had triplets Lunna, Babette, and pixe who are now at collage I miss them vesta is the 4th girl that is it for the girls and then they had inch a little boy hope to have one more but parent are getting old and gray

Can the people on the iPod have rare kids?

Yes. A rare child as casually defined on our forums is a child whose hair color appears outside the 'normal' range of the parents. This is very possible in the iPod version, the same as it is on Windows and Mac.

My first family I had a long time ago, maybe a few months ago but the second generation died. My new family, the Babba's, are wonderful.

Just earlier today, I adopted Lilianna, a beautiful brunette/caramel mixed hair and a love of working. She is currently saving up for a cat and a red polka dotted dress.

Lilliana accepted her second marridge request from a man named Humph, whom I renamed to Hromph. He has a curly mess of brown hair on the top of his head, and doesn't earn a high salary. All in all, he's unappealing. Lilianna is surprising him with a new suit as soon as she can buy one.

Hromph and Lilianna have two kids, Francozo and Broncono. Francozo is currently two years of age, and Bronocono is a baby. Lilianna and Hromph are hoping for a girl as their next child, as they would like Francozo or a girl to take over their house when they pass away.

Descriptions:
Lilianna: Caramel/Brown hair and aa fun-loving work-a-holic person. If that makes sense.Okay salary ($90)
Hromph: Mess of curly brown hair, low salary and unapplealing. ($60)
Francozo: Same hair as Hromph, and very boring.
Broncono: Same hair as Francozo and Hromph, personalitty N/A.

As you can see, my family is very rocky so far. They plan to have 3 children (Maybe four or five, but not six) their next (hopefully) being a girl. They would like new clothes for the whole family and a black and white cat named Crumbles or Oreo.

Well i am alot futher now and my first adopted family are in the seocnd generation. Their eldest child Max is making it big in the usa (He is adopted) they have one son who is 5 now and both parents on their way of having another promotion.

My second family is in their first generation with the elest going to collage and the youngest will go soon since he is 17 years old. They make quite reasoneble living in their life.

the third family is also in their first generation having not such good income but one of them is close of having a promotion and their oldest son will soon go to collage. the youngest who is 7 is adopted and came in into the family without even a pair of shoes so he got himself a brand new outfit which he loves.

At this moment in time, I'm in my 11th generation:

The house has been passed down to (get ready...) a woman named Brianrietta. :P (This name came up on a Homestar Runner animation; I don't remember what the girl's original name was but I think it reminded me of this for some reason, so I got a little carried away...)

Brianrietta is 41 years old at the moment, and she is married to Lucien. He is 40.

They currently have four children: Rosa (12), Falina (9) and Maurice (4). The fourth is still a baby.

Incidentally, whenever you pick up any of the first 3 kids they all scream "whoa!" hysterically. So we could have a full house of drama queens here!

Right now, they've all gone to bed. Except Rosa just got out of bed and decided to take a tour of the perimeter of her own house. As you do!

They all have brown hair. The mum has long, straight hair, but both of the daughters have very bushy hair. Maurice has inherited his dad's punk hairstyle. (if inheriting a hairstyle is possible... hmm, looks like it is in this game!)

Oh yeah, and my family has a pet dragon (well, a modded cat) who has been in the house since the first generation.

I haven't posted about my family in awhile. I'm doing an alphabet theme that I originally explained here.

So generation 17 was the "I" generation. Ida married a man named Ichiro and they have children named Isaiah, Ivan, Immanuel, Isabel, Ignatius, and Ibrahim.

Immanuel wins the die roll and his family is Generation 18. Since Immanuel is a Biblical name, he marries a woman with a biblical name too, Jemima. They have a son named Jadon which is also a Biblical name.

Jadon begins Generation 19 by marrying the rainbow haired girl! I was so excited when she popped up on the marriage proposal. She had a really neat outfit, and her profession was perfect! She was an artist, and I could just so easily see an artist type dying her hair a funky rainbow type color.

So I name her Juno, a name from Roman mythology. Juno was a Roman goddess and "queen of the heavens." She was also the protector of women and marriage and that seemed really neat name for a really neat person.

Juno and Jadon got busy raising their family. First Jack came along, then another boy named Jesse. Their first girl was then born, Joanna, followed by another girl, Jennifer. Finally their last baby came along whom they named Jeremiah. An adopted girl named Juliet completed their family.

Jack wins the random die roll, so for Generation 20 I decide to go with names that are one syllable. Jack marries Kate and they have a boy named Kurt.

Kurt begins generation 21 by marrying a pretty dark haired woman with a blue ribbon in her hair by name of Keziah. Their children as as follows: Kira, Kevin, Kasper, Kenneth, Kalypso, and finally an adopted daughter, Katarina.

Kevin wins the die roll, so the theme I select for him are the Top 50 most poplar U.S. names from the 2008 SSA list which you can read here. He marries a lovely woman with black hair and a red head band, and they have a daughter named Leah.

That's where I'm currently at for the moment. I'm looking forward to starting Leah's generation since there's a lot of L names I like. I'm glad to read about everyone else's families in the meantime.

In my first game, I started with Laila. Laila then married Pierolo. And they had a daughter named Fabina. But Laila has passed away, so Fabina takes over the house. She marries a man named Typo, and they have a daughter named Pepper.

In my second game, I started with Franie (the colorful woman) who marries Fulcrum. They have a son named Lux, and after trying for a few more years, have another boy named Kita. Almost immediately after Kita turned two, they have twin girls, Trishesse and Soonella. Again, they wait until the twins are like five, and have another son, Snap, and another daughter Galatia.

I currently have four families in my game.

My "Cookie" family is now on generation 5. In this family, I keep all of their original names for a bit of variation.
Phantom, the gen 4 child that got the house, is now 37. His wife Saphette is 39. They have 6 children: son Zif (11), daughter Icona (9), daughter Alfa (8), son Bluff (5), adopted son Bingu (5) and son Tico (3).

The "Os Bichinhos" family is also on generation 5. In this family, only females are allowed to inherit the house.
The current "heiress", Vera, is 35. Her husband Paulozo is 34. They have 5 kids so far: daughter Elizabeth (10), son George (8), daughter Salome (5), son Littlefinger (3) and a baby son whose name I haven't decided yet.

The third family, the "Jo" one, is on generation 4.
Toby is the gen 3 child that inherited the house. He is now 29. His wife, Sophie, is 31. Their children are Stephen (7), Brian (5), Beatrice (4) and Ellen (2).

The last family ("Fred Fredburger") is only on the third generation.
Only two people are left at home now: Beyond from generation 2, who is 47, and his wife Roxy, who is 46.
Their six children (triplet girls Lisabeth, Bethann and Annalisa, twin boys Jonathan and Matthew and youngest son Tyrone) are all at college.
After Beyond and Roxy die, Lisabeth will come back to the house. I think this will be the first time ever for me that a child that is part of a set of multiples will inherit the house.

I have begun the second generation with Trishesse.
Trishesse has married Stephory, and together, they have five beautiful children (one is adopted).

P.S. I would LOVE for them to have one more child, but now matter how many times they try, there is never a new baby, but I still have a few more years to go for the mother before she stops having children, so maybe a baby will be soon!

Since my last post in this thread, I created a new family, the "Sachinha" family.
I started with a woman who I named Sasha F. (now 37). She married a man that I renamed Feio I (now 38). They have six children: daughter Coisas (9), adopted daughter Patas (8), daughter Caudas (7), twin sons Bicho and Bonito (5) and daughter Bolsas (2).

i am soo exited! i just got my first twin from Estelle and Nicky wo are the thirst generation in my second family. They got two boys Boeing and Dino

My family is the "Gemstones". I'm on gen 2, my mother is Odessa, a 26 year old wine critic, and the father is Oliver, a 29 year old Recipe Inventor. They have a 2 year old daughter named Olivia.

My family began with Frana, who married Bit. They are both 45 now and had four children together. Astro, Loot, Archie, and finally a daughter Becky. The kids are all still pretty young, the oldest being twelve and the youngest two so I hope neither of the parents die anytime soon. I can't choose a favorite just yet, although Archie and Becky are the most fun.
