Dogs are like that. I'd like to see their energy be easier to manage. Do you know how many times i've had to put them on the bed?!

When I first added the dog, he promptly left the kids bedroom and curled up on the bed in the masterbedroom (very realistic), then sadly, he seemed to become stuck between the nightstand and the closet. I couldn't be sure if that was a glitch or not, considering some real life dogs I've known.

Now he follows around whomever he can catch, mainly the dad. Although last night he ended up sitting in the mom's lap. Then she changed positions and they exhibited that famous VV/VF ability to occupy the same space at the same time.

I'm willing to suspend "real" world expectations and logic, provided there are consistent virtual world model to replace them. And that's where I run into the time / money glitch...

If, with VF logic, it's 1 year for every 2 hours, (so it takes 4 real hours to produce a two year old child,) then the store should really be updated more frequently than every four years (8 hours).

Likewise, I have parents who are making $100+ a day each. If it's a real day, and I've been playing the game for 4 days now, I should have roughly less than a thosand dollars (taking into account sold collectibles, interest etc.), not enough to purchase anything other than limited food. On the other hand, if it is $100 a VF day, each parent should have an annual income of $36,500 every two hours. Instead, and I'm estimating here, the family seems to have earned about 4-6K (didn't track how much was spent in food, and I've got about 2k in "upgrades") in 4 days. I haven't lost a parent yet, but it seems that despite their listed daily income they probably won't even amass their projected yearly salary during the course of their entire working life.

And then there's the dog...
I spend less than $100 on spam software and that warrants a major family celebration. Spend $500 on a dog and there's no reaction at all? Very strange.
for what it is worth you make an excellent post.. I am a beta tester... not here but as a tester I make sure all aspects of the game are covered for the player to enjoy..... and to the poster who is fearful of stating your view.. if I buy a DVD or rent one , that gives me the right to totally slate the wooden acting if I see fit to do so... so hence if you paid your money then you should have the right to say what is not right and maybe request being on the beta testing list in the future. its a cool game IMO but screams " expansion pack" as when I look at the mediocre trinkets I can buy?? I want a guitar and a pet horse and new puzzles and a new career as I am bored of being a Mustard bottler( level 5 Mustard Bottler surely there is no hope for this guy no matter how hard he tries he will die being a Mustard Bottler. This is not what we want to tell our kids!) thus need a change, I also want new carpets, colours, maybe even the option to leave the house and come home late as in a child would and does... well we cannot have it all , but it is late and I am scared to go onto the game incase I disrupt their sleep !!
