My person has aged two years but not earned two years' worth of her salary?

Ok, I understand how they get paid, but I'm still confused by the huge discrepancy in age time/work time. It's like one day is several years of their age but only one day of their work. The game is real time so I understand how most everything happens as if one day is one day, except for the way they age.

Hah. I know what you mean. I played VV, so I'm used to a year taking 2 hours, but with the new night/day cycle, I get a bit confused at times as well

But they also make money while working on their carreer, and then there's the interest. Besides, imagine that bearing a kid would take 2 actual years, or even 9 months :P

I think it's a bit of give and take
