I have an 18 year old in my house and I noticed that her "Wants Children" preference is already showing. (she doesn't want any)

I did not notice on my older kids and they are now away at college.

Does anyone know if we get to see all the stats before we choose who gets the house? Like...do we get to see their career, income, and child preference or not?

Yes, you will see all of the information about each of the children before you choose. They are presented to you in the same manner as the original adoption, and you can scroll through them (unless there is only one child).

Hi Mary! If you haven't found out yet the game will will give you a choice you can click on to allow one of the kids take over the house. Look for it in the FAMILY SCREEN. I still don't know if the parents have to die first or not thought. It would be really nice if the kids could take care of the parents when they age, as they should in real life. smile

When starting a new family with the next generation, I wish there was an option to save the parents' house as a separate game so you could continue playing with them and see what they do with the rest of their lives.

I thought you could keep the parents in the house as long as they were alive if you didn't start the new family until the parents had passed on.

Correct, Gatsbi. You have the OPTION to transfer to the next generation if you wish, but you don't HAVE to.

is there a certain age the youngest that left the house has to be before the transfer family tree will show up ?
My parents are in their mid 50's and all the kids are gone but i still can't transfer the house, just wondering when that option will be available .
