I am down to a 57 year old mom that looks great and a 18 year old adopted boy that will go soon I guess. Amanda can stay as long as she is willing to work and her health stays good! LOL I hope she is not too lonely.

Okay, my 2 adults passed away at 59 and left a 6 year old alone in the house. So far he is confused. He was just sitting under a tree "Jealous about the new baby" but he is all alone in the house. Now he is just depressed and hanging around the house with the cat.

So this morning, the dad in my family died. I had his wife and one kid left, who was 18. I waited until he went to college and then i switched to the next generation because i didnt want to leave the wife alone. When you switch, you keep your money and all house repairs and upgrades. The kid starts in their twenties no matter when they left for college...

In my first family both parents died with a ten yr old at home. So I went on and started a new generation. And I be dog if the baby girl who was ten jumped to about 27 which wouldn't have been a problem hadn't her OLDEST sister been 25. So she is now older than the oldest child.

Does anyone know if the preference for children remains the same when you are choosing the next generation as it was when they were 18?

The age, career and desire for children is randomized when picking a new generation smile

So, basically it is not the same when choosing the next generation as it shows prior to their leaving for college?

As far as I've seen, no, but I could be mistaken. I'll try to catch one of my children at 18 and note down the wants. smile
