Will there be a gravestone? Or...Any memory of them?

Well, I haven't personally gotten that far yet, but I know that their pictures will still be in the Family screen list. smile

Well, theres an image for it, like with promotion and stuff, but looking through the image files, I can't see any grave stones or anything... admittedly though, I don't know about anyone else but my deceased family members aren't buried in my garden... maybe that's why... would be kinda nice in a way if they were, you're little people could mourn them...

It'd be cool if there were ghosts :P don't you think laugh I think it'd be really cool!! But only if they were friendly... well... maybe.. hmm.. >:D nahh,,, but It would be quite cool smile

As Krystal said, they still appear in the Families screen. You can click on their image and a pop-up appears where you can add notes about their age at death and other things.

So, do we write in the notes when they die? Or will it do it automatically?

You enter the notes yourself. You don't have to wait until they die, either; you can access the notes at any time during the game and change them or update them. smile

okay, but what if they die in the night or something, we won't know if they aged overnight... sounds stupid... I know smile But it's like someone writing the wrong age on your grave stone..

In that case, you can't know exactly, but you can get close. They age 1 year every 4 hours (except for infants in mom's arms), so if you know how old they were the night before, you can figure out how old they were when you open the game again.

Not sure if this is the right place, but if I can make a suggestion about ageing? If it didn't mess with the time zone thing, I'd like a slow option like you can do in the VV games so they age slower. Thanks. smile

Personally, I'm happy there aren't any gravestones. I don't want my house to be next door to a cemetery. smile

When I started VF up yesterday morning I got a message that the mother of my family had gotten a promotion. I clicked "OK" and there she was in bed waving goodbye - I guess she went to the office upstairs! The poor family didn't know whether to celebrate the promotion or grieve their loss...

That is a brand new interpretation to 'work till you drop death' grin

I grew up next to cemetery, my Dad always said we had quiet neighbors!
