lol, VV3fan331! laugh I know what you mean though. I have 3 families now. The first family has one boy and one girl and they are both okay kids. The second family has a boy and a baby (don't yet know what it is) and that boy is a terror! He has written on the walls of the workshop, pulls the plants out, digs holes in the yard, jumps on the bed, etc. I LOVE it, lol! The game developers really put a lot of thought into coming up with things that our little people can do and making them have individual personalities! My third family are newly married but both Definitely wanted kids and got a baby on the first try, but they just got the baby so I don't know what that one is yet either.

Anyway, I've rarely had to use the Red hand with my first or third family. I think only once or twice with the first one. But that little boy from the second family has been touched by the red hand several times now, lol! I have gotten so that I now try to "catch" him being good just so I can make sure I use the green hand on him as much as I can too. wink

You know you can always go to the "family" tab and see what gender the baby will be. I figured that out with my first family just looking at the different stuff and I knew the second child was a girl before she was 2 and what she would look like once she was 2.

Oh wow, msnana! Thanks for that info -- now I'll be able to find out what those babies are. laugh I guess I was so used to the VV games that I just figured I'd have to wait until the baby was a two year older. I'll have to check that out now.

You're Welcome. I had no idea at first either. I just kinda bumped into that information. I was shocked.

You can see what the baby/babies is going to be by looking on the 'Family Screen'.

Like you I found myself scolding the first child for doing all those naughty things, but it made me feel bad. smile With the other children I simply redirected them from the naughty activity to playing with their toys, in the sandbox, or studying and then would praise them for that. That seemed to instill better behavior in them without so much scolding..., and it sure made me feel better doing it that way. LOL!!!

Thanks Lewanda. Yea, that's actually what I ended up doing too because I really coudn't stand using that red hand. So, several times when it said he was going to jump on the bed or write on the walls of the shed, I picked him up and plopped him into the sandbox or on the pile of toys in the bedroom and then used the green hand instead. smile He's a bit older now and I haven't seen him doing any of the "misdeeds" lately, so it must have worked.

I actually enjoy watching when my kids occasionally misbehave. I even praised a kid for hiding toys. laugh It's just such a change from normal and it's so funny to watch that I don't really mind at all. But mostly, they're pretty good kids. grin
