First of all, if this is not in the right section, could one of the moderators please move it to the correct location? I couldn't figure out where to post this.

I was looking over the mods that have been created for Virtual Families and would like to use one or two of them but I don't know where I'm supposed to put the files. If this question is explained elsewhere could someone post a link to that spot for me please? Thank you in advance.

If you look at the previous games mods in the mod forums, there are directions on where to place mods to make them work. These directions will also work for VF

Thanks Xay! I own all three of the VV games and have had many, many hours of enjoyment with those games too, but I never installed any mods into any of them, so I didn't know. Okay, I'll search for instructions on where to put mods for those games and go from there. Again, thank you!

Hey -- I just noticed that you and I originally registered at this site only two days apart! But you have a lot more posts than I do -- I get wrapped up in other games too is why. Always come back to these games in the end though.

With the game turned OFF...

You go into the Virtual Families game folder and find the image that you are going to be replacing.

***Make a copy and save the image in a new folder. (I like to keep my new folder in the "Images" folder and label it "Originals")

Then, you just add the Mod into the images folder and make sure that it has the same name as the image you replaced.

I usually end up posting quite a bit around the time of a game release, helping people with what I've learned about the games. I even made some mods for VV3 I'm pondering if I want to make mods for VF yet
