I'm not sure how long you must wait between attempts, but I've noticed the same thing. Give it a few minutes and try again.

Ah yes, the days of speed kissing are over. It seems like it takes about 15 minutes or so. I haven't had any luck trying it any faster than that. Don't know anything more specific, sorry. frown

I've had ones where there is only 2 years between children's ages, and another where the child is 11 and they say it is too soon. The family where the first child and second child are only two years apart, the youngest is now 4 and they are saying it is too soon.

I do have to say I think it might be best to wait a bit, as the couple with three kids has run out of food faster than the other families, even if I have bought a good amount (well over 1500 food units in fridge), and now they don't have the cash to buy more. So I guess they will have to just work harder.

I have a couple where she maybe wanted kids and he thought it would be nice... it took them 10 years to say it had been long enough!

Oh did I mention that when they finally did it was triplets!? lol serves me right for trying so hard.

Edit Reason: triplets

How much is in the family bank account? I've noticed that when funds are low, they steadfastly refuse to "embrace". The more members of the family that there are, the higher the bank balance needs to be for them to try without arguing...then again, most of my parents only feel so-so about having little ones in the first place...

Hmmm... I hadn't considered that. I only notice I get the email "Money is tight right now" when there is less than 250 in the bank so, maybe that does have an effect on being "In the mood."

I have had peeps where one was a maybe and the other was a "Not really" which have two now I think. I find perfume/colones seem to work for the mood as well - use a perfume and when the one is "celebrating the marriage" drop the other on top. They usualy go to try.

Baby boost shot I think only helps increase the chance that they will have a child, I've used it twice where it didn't help - both times the women were over 40 - one was 41 and the other was 42.

As always "your mileage may vary"
