I was recently in task manager and found that Virtual Families is using 440 MB of my memory. This is no problem for me but for some players who might only have 512 MB this could be a problem. Is it normal for Virtual Families to use 400 MB of memory?

My computer acutally shows 2 VF files running. One is 400MB and the other is just under 1MB.

I am running Vista Ultimate 64 bit (if that makes a difference)

It's normal for two processes to be running for Virtual Families. The actual amount of memory usage will vary from system to system (on one of mine, the larger process uses 368K of memory). I have tested Virtual Families extensively on a a 5-year-old laptop with 512 meg of memory, and it runs just fine, although I probably wouldn't want to be doing a lot of other things on the computer at the same time.

ok I can see why it take so much memory to run it. Virtual Families is a complex game.
