I'm trying to decide which to purchase, Fish Tycoon for Palm or PC. I have tried both trials & am totally addicted.
Anyone have suggestions??

Well, it kind of depends on how and where you want to play the game. The genetics are the same in both versions, but there are some differences that could be important to you. The PC version will allow multiple players to maintain separate games, while the Palm version only supports one player. The PC version has more features and improved graphics, but it's not as portable as the Palm version, which you can take with you and play just about anywhere. The Palm version also supports exchanging fishies with another Palm user who is playing Fish Tycoon, a feature that's not available in any other version.

I hope that helps you decide!

Thanks for the help.
I've already discovered the fun of "beaming" fish between the Palms. I use my husband's as a pure breed tank. It's nice, but I really like the options & graphics better on the PC version. That's why it's so hard to decide.

I've played both, and as I like the portablility of a hand held, I like having the family tree with the pc version. I prety much gave up on the hand held version and play only the pc version. Plus my three boys enjoy playing the game, and I'm not much into letting the handle the iPaq. So if you cant get both, I would go with the PC version.

Palm Pros: Portability (play anywhere, anytime), fish exchange
Palm Cons: small screen, only 1 generation family tree, single player/game

PC Pros: Better graphics (fish looks better), bigger screen, multiple players/games
PC Cons: Can exchange fish, not portable (unless you carry a laptop all the time).

I've only tried the Palm version a short while, so others need to confirm, but I think the Palm version is more stingy. I played both on "easy" and the supplies on the Palm are much more expensive than on the PC, and you get less money for the fish on he Palm. This seems strange, as I would think the prices would be the same.

I too favor the PC version, but it's quite fun having your fish with you to care for at any time.
