What happens when you have 20 fish in a tank but some or all are pregnant? It seems like the babies aren't born until there is room in the tank...is that it? I'm doing some breeding in one tank and it appears that I don't lose babies when the tank is full but I'm curious as to how the game handles this.

If the tank is full then the fish will not born, because there is no space in the tank for it. So if you plan on breeding them and all three tanks are full then you have to sell some to make space.

I think the fish are born but they get eaten by other fish. Means that you've got to repeat the cross in order to find the offspring.

Its true! Those Isola fish are canibals The fish don't "wait" to have the babies once there is room. If you breed fish, and have no room for the babies. The other fish will eat them.
