I've noticed all of my toons seem to be Exhausted or Tired all the time.
Telling them to go to bed or nap doesn't seem to help very much.

If they're exhausted, sleeping will bring them up to Tired... but within 2 minutes they're back to exhausted.

I might be over-working them, trying to get their carrer up, but still.

Anyone else noticing this, or found a more effective way of keeping them alert?

I found alternating them between napping and going to bed helps to get them alert more. But working them makes them tired more quickly I found. I think there is a longer post about this on another page, might be worth flicking back a few pages smile

Okie, ty, I'll try not to work them too hard!
*put's the slave master's whip back into the cupboard* :P

I'll do a more thorough search too.

Hehe, put that whip away for a while.
I think tiredness is something that all my little people seem to be suffering from atm, but hopefully *crosses fingers* they are sleeping right now so will be much better when I go visit them very soon!!

Well, you see that is something I have noticed... my toons will sleep ALOT.
I praised them when I started noticing them being tired, and now when they're tired they'll go to sleep without me telling them to.

The problem is they will sleep for 10-20 minutes easily... get out of bed... and 2 minutes later, go back to bed because they're tired again.

That is the main worrying thing... I don't know, maybe they are getting too much sleep?

Maybe, when they get out of bed, if you check their energy levels if you think they are acceptable, plonk them in the work place or at the computer or something and praise them? Maybe they have forgotten other activities? I'm not sure what kind of memory they have, maybe they are a bit like goldfish!! Heehee.

My male toon is a rocket scientist, so I'd hope he has good memory! ^^

I've tried praising just work and sleep, and they do seem to do mostly just those 2 activities.
So I think I will try praising them for watching TV or something, and see how it goes. smile

I'm having similar problems--they're exhausted but refuse to stay sleeping, whether it's napping or in bed.

I also read it after Frizzie told me (I apologise for not searching before posting this).
But it also hasn't helped much.

The problem I am having isn't that my toons won't sleep... it's that they don't gain much energy after doing so. Even alternating between napping and sleeping.

Emm, me too--they sometimes will sleep but gain no energy. But I guess if they're not getting sick it's not a huge deal.

For me when they wake up from sleeping still tired they all by themselves go take a nap... But then again I got them to do that by praising napping and sleeping to the point of them being annoyed

Like you, mine have no problem sleeping or napping, they will do it themselves, because I too have been praising them alot.
But it seems to have little to no effect on their energy bar.

Really? Because that's not the case here, they will fall asleep in bed exhausted, wake up still tired (takes a min for the bar to register the increase) then go for a nap. By the time they wake up from the nap they are at about half full for an energy bar.

It seems the game is making a fool out of me.
Now that I have been complaining about it, my toons seem to have gotten better at raising their energy.
Although my male toon still becomes tired again very soon after napping.

emmote - I have also found if you leave for a little while and come back to one exhausted (like the father in my little family) you'll also notice he's gained greatly in his career. For me anyway, I guess I shouldn't say it'll work that way for everyone, someone's could've been up forever playing a video game lol.

It's so random for me. sometimes they sleep and gain no energy on the bar. Sometimes they sleep then nap then gain a full bar. It's so frustrating!
