I know it's pretty early still but what are some things you love about the game so far?

Personally, I love the background music! And selling items on internet was funny to me

I love reading all the little captions about what my people are doing, especially the children. My two girls were running around the house "playing train" following one another and that I loved!!

The brushing of the teeth also really really amused me for some reason and I also love how they sell things on the internet.

I love the quotes that come with promotions..and the fact that adults can collect collectibles!!!!!! :P

I had forgotten the quotes, they are fun to read.

I love the music!!!

The fact that the mom can perform the duties of cooking and cleaning and things like that WHILE nursing children... hmm what else...

I like how they tickle their children, and how the kids bug the fish if you have them!

Aww, I've not had the tickling yet, I will try that one out, sounds cute, I love how my mum tells stories to here kids though.

I love the interactions, the music, the sound effects. The way the kids run up to peek at the groceries and how they can sell stuff online - they sit and type so adorably! I love how I can leave them unpaused overnight and not worry that I'm going to return to utter disaster in the morning. I love the animation of sneezing and hiccuping. I love the celebration of marriage, and I love the little dance with the rainbow that they do when you praise them.

I love the shows on the T.V.! So far, I've seen what looks like:

Snow White
The Simpsons
A tennis game
Wheel of Fortune
Something that looks like the Discovery or National Geographic Channel

It's fun to turn the T.V. on and off just to see what else there is. Has anyone recognized any of the other shows?

I wondered if one of the shows was Lost. One looked like a tropical island scene. And I've wondered for a long time if the developers were Lost fans, what with the names Joop, Sun, Gin and Lock popping up in VV games.

i like reading the emails my family gets and the emails that they send to me, i also like the random events

I love the email to player, that has to be my favorite part, period. Well that and the praising part, that was a good idea on the part of whoever thought it up! lol

I also love the music, the quotes, how the mum can still do things like cooking while she is holding the baby, and how much the people behave like a real family; more than one time I've been watching the kids and thinking "I used to do that... "

I love the little emails they send, mine just told me to get them some new things in the house as Kikhi just got his promotion, so off to the store we go!!

I love how you can see the ebay screen on the computer. And I swear I've seen virtual villagers one also (the water area), so funny when the virtual people play with VV LOL

I love the intent, the esthetics and the very apparent responce to details players wanted to see

And the funny lines and actions.

I've seen a news show, and what looks like the movie Ice Age. I also saw the Snow White on the TV! I also love the funny stuff that pops up on the computer screen!

I love that my Vfamily just got an email saying there was a rare collectible in the yard! That helps!

Oh, and dancing by the MP3 player!

i love everything! i love that the woman does more than just walk around holding the baby! thats awesome! ive also seen solitaire on the computer! and wheel of fortune on tv. and the quotes are adorable! i also love the little dance the dad does b4 trying for a baby!

I love just watching the kids and seeing all the fun things they get up to.

I love it how the kid's heads spin all the way around a million times while their playing with their toys. It probably a glitch but it so funny.

i know! also when the dad does the dance his head spins around alot! i laughed so hard the first time i saw that! i thought his head was gonna pop off

I love it when the parents tickle the kids when you drop them on them to play with them; it's adorable!

Hmm, the water and tropical island thing; I see standard Windows desktop when I see the beach/water thing on the computer. Is there another one?

I love all of the above. I really like that my dad is growing a beard as he's aging that he didn't have to start with. And I loved when my one kid was digging to china!! and the kids wanting attention, just like real kids!

Getting attention is funny, they'll go in front of the tv and start yelling and dancing around.

I also get a real kick out of kids playing on the lawn, seeing them go after those gophers was both cute and funny!

I love how they go to sleep, all that paranoid head turning then they're out for the count.

I also really, really love the event where the guy comes for the collectibles.

One thing I have noticed is that I love watching the family develope and the home improve. It's just nice to see everything coming together and work out

I thought I would love twins but boy, are they busy little things to keep up with! Honestly, I do love them...I can't imagine triplets!!!

I LOVE TO SHOP!! I'm turning into a shopaholic at the expense of my poor families' pocketbook. LOL. It's an endless source of amazement and amusement to dump the grocery bags onto the table and watch the hilarious ensuing happy dance. And the delicious items they unpack and flaunt...That cake! Those juicy steaks! The giant crab! PIZZA....
I want to go and live there.

I think it's funny to turn the TV off while they are watching it. They jump up, turn around and look at you and yell "HEY".

She's pretty cool! First time I saw her, I did a double take...then said "whoa!" LOL

I love the extra pesonality. LOL, Carerra, 2nd to youngest sibling, was cheated out of the oppertunity to take a nap, 'cause her older siblings, Limbo & Penny, got to the chair first! She stopped running, and shook her head, "NO." I laughed so hard...

so far my favorite is this CUTE little boy with an adorable personality. He started admiring himself in the mirror and i praised him for it now thats all he wants to do. Ironic thing so far thats the only time he has been so "obedient"

I love all the difefrent jobs. My favorite so far is food photographer. I would love that job. Actually im seriously thinking about doing that job lol.

I love:

Parents FINALLY getting to go to the bathroom (uncross legs, give sigh of relief!)

I also love that the moms carrying babies can do stuff like fix the floors, etc. She won't work on her job, but can help out with the other stuff, yahoo!

Love the music, too!

I love a lot, but here's a few favorites:

Doing Tai Chi on the porch
Aerobics in front of the TV
Putting on lotion
Cleaning counters and oven/fridge
Relaxing in the hammock themselves (instead of me putting them there)
Ironing the shirts
And the kids Hiding and having Giggle party's!

Would love to get a guy growing a beard! Haven't had that one yet. So now I try by scolding one if he wants to Shave....
Doubt if that will work, though.

I don't know if LDW plans it this way or not but I LOVE that there is so much to do in/with the games.

To me part of "the game" is being on the forum, mods to the game, figuring out the little things like the elusive red ball and making things for the guides like careers/salaries and events. I'm not a writer, but even the fan fiction and screenshots are parts of the game in my opinion. The funny little behaviors that make you laugh are part of the game.

I guess it's true that if you run one family in one slot and do nothing but that, it may not be challenging enough for a lot of enthusiastic gamers...but I think that's what I appreciate is that it allows you to challenge yourself and dive in as deep as you'd like...or not.

So...in short, I love that the games allow much more than just standard game play.

What you can do is look at the images file and see which guys get beards then try to pick partners that will increase the liklihood of getting that bearded fellow.

They are independant enough to feed themselves, do laundry, work on career, etc

The wind blowing in trash and finding socks (wish the socks were collectables!)

I have one 'older dad' that has grown a beard - guess he took the hair from his head as he now has a comb-over LOL

i love it when they lay down on the deck and look at the stars. i also love it, and find it a little strange, that, just like in vv, i have "favorites", and will always pick the child that looks the most like my favorite to take over the house.

Love everything about the game! Had fun with the twins they were so different in personalities. Next generation had triplets and was that a job and a half. All three were red-headed boys, all got sick at the same time and continually got sick (headache, hiccups, sneezing, coughing) at the same time. Finally had enough money saved for three doctors visits. Ended up with two serious infections and one grave infection. Love the earthquake that causes damage so future generations have thing to do.

same with me! i love love love every thing and i loved it so much i buyed it the 2nt day it was out isnt that cool?? but i dont like the sickness but i love that you can be a doctor! SO INTERESTING!

Okay, after much time playing I am finding tons of things I love about the game, find funny and adorable, and things I am impressed by.

So, I thought I'd ask others what they find great about the game too.

Right now I am soooo happy that I have a totally elated and functional family!

There's Mom & Dad and six kids (two are away at college). When I opened the game one immediately started preparing a meal, while the kids studied or played nicely with toys. I went to make my real kids breakfast and by time I got back the peeps had all eaten, cleared the table, done the dishes, one was showering, another was watering the flowers, a little one was taking out the garbage and the parents were back to earn some coins! I had the mom read e-mail and it was a note from the oldest at college saying she had gotten a promotion!

I just thought it was way cute! The kids almost entirely do behaviors they have been repeatedly praised for, the teens study and help with chores and the parents work and play with the kids

same! i love the training! and the giggle partys! giggle giggle the best part i love of VF is i found my virtual self! isnt that great! redish orangish glasses same clothes as me, and hair blackish brownish, and this is my fav: likes internet! SAME AS ME!!!! and wants kids: would be nice. same! same-same! theres another me.
