with vv 1 2 and 3 and plant and fish tycoon, i would always pause it b4 i shut it off, but i didnt advance that far lol. i want to know how much food they need to last them 8 to 10 hours? i dont want to open it tomorrow to find all of them dead! which is y i always paused the others, but like i said, it took FOREVER to get research and everything done! thanks to any and all who respond, this game is AWESOME!

If I remember correctly....I had about 1200 units of food last night before I went to bed, and when I checked on them in the morning (about 10 hours later or so) there was about 600 units left.

It will depend how many people are in your family already. Make sure you have plenty, I had four people in my family and had 100 units of food last night and ended up with about 200 this morning. If you have a bigger family they will use more food.

I don't think your peeps would starve to death after only 8-10 hours, anyway. They are rather stronger than that! They'd be hungry, maybe even starving, when you opened the game again in the morning, but a good meal (or two) should put that right. They might also be a little annoyed at you for ignoring them.

The food seems to not dwindle as fast as it did in the VV games, thats for sure. Less people I guess. One or two bags of groceries should suffice an average family for 10 or 12 hours.

thanks! when i turned it back on today, they had plenty of food, won 2 or 3 trophy's and gotten promoted twice!!!
