One of my families got a hammock from a friend (as an event) I put one on it to relax and that seems to help the energy level some. The hammock in the store is a bit expensive for just starting out, so if you don't get it as an event it can be troublesome. But I agree, praising them when "going to bed" seems to help them stay in bed a bit longer. I exited each family when they were sleeping (at night) last night and this moring all of them had recovered more than 50% energy. I also gave one lady an energy drink - wow did it boost her energy , but she also couldn't seem to stay at one task for very long either.
