Each person in the game will have random actions. They can check out their outfits, dust, arrange, straighten, watch TV, etc. I believe the latte is going to be one of those random actions. I haven't found a way to "make it happen.

The kitchen third upgrade picture shows what appears to be an espresso machine on the counter. I'll bet you need to have this upgrade before you have have them make lattes.

even with the upgrade, I cannot seem to get them to make the latte on purpose. I may be doing it wrong but I cannot seem to "make" them make lattes.:?

It is totally random 1 of my families did it i think it was a teenage girl who just out of the blue started making latte's i remember from VV series the happier the villagers where the more things they choose to do and when my families are elated they study in the kitchen make lattes and other random things.

I started a new game and the first day the guy made latte. Glad I happened to catch it.

to get any upgrade, for the kitchen, computers. its 5000, how can you make money fast to get the upgrade?

I have had several of them make lattes when they had the original kitchen, so you don't have to have an upgrade for them to be able to make them. When I first added version .04 to my game, almost all of the peeps 14 on up were trying to make them. I haven't yet added version .05 and I may not as I'm happy with .04 still.

The only way to make money faster than having them work for it and get promotions is to have them sell collectibles. Well, besides getting a random event where they get money -- which isn't something you can make happen anyway.

I've just started a new generation in one of my games. At present there's Ma and Pa Peep, and they've just had a son, who's still a baby. I'm beginning to think they might be caffeine addicts, and a little selfish. First Pa made himself a bucket of coffee and drank it all himself, swiftly followed by Ma, who did the same. Ma returned to the kitchen a little while ago to make herself a grande latte. I've just seen PA on his way to make himself yet more coffee ...

You'd think one of them would make the other a cup now and then.

Well, to be completely honest, I haven't actually seen any of them make one since I first installed version .04 -- maybe it's because they were all so tired when I first added that one?

My folks are trying to make latte every now and then. I think they're more inclined to do it when they're tired (in the evenings half of the family goes to nap, and the other half to coffee machine). It's really cute to watch them

miskinsincap, do your people make latte even in an non upgraded kitchen? Some people say they need a fully upgraded kitchen.

The upgraded kitchen isnt required for them to make latte's. But the only place I have found that I could force them to make one, was bouncing them in the corner of the utility room a few times and it just showed up. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but it worked for me in all three of my families.

I'm on my first generation family, with the original kitchen and they have made a latte. (version 05)

My day family is a little more neglected as I don't get time to play, and are asleep now so I don't want to disturb them, but I don't think I have got the latte there yet.

My Mom in my night family is a coffee addict, while the Dad doesn't make any coffee, he makes breakfast. But then my Mom said "no way" to kids, so she obviously wants a career and coffee is quicker, but I still managed to get to six kids, one was adopted, but she did it, but it took some work!

No, I've just made my first kitchen upgrade five mins ago, but I got the trophy much before that. But, the first time I saw them make latte was right after I installed v .04.

There is not a way to Make one of your peeps make a latte, they do it on there own. But, i got all my trophies for making lattes, the only time i see my peeps make lattes is in between 6amand 9am.. Hope this helps

lol, your welcome. I dont play that early either but i had one of my familys reversed on day and night and played at 7am(their time) and noticed them making a latte so i got up early one morning just to get the trophies...lol. that is also the only way i could get the Kung Fu trophy...Early morning!!

The way I got the Kung Fu trophy was quite funny actually.

My couple went to sleep and I really wanted them to try to have another baby, so I got one of those energy drinks and "poured" onto the sleeping lady (Franella was her name ) - she immediately jumped out of the bed fighting Kung Fu and ran to the garden! *lol* This was late at night, so I can tell that the energy drink REALLY works! *lol*

Dragoness, I have 5 families playing on my original user account on my computer and then I made a second user account so I could install the game there as well. In the version that's on my second user account, I have them all set so when it's nighttime where I live, it's daytime for them. If I can find time to sit down at my computer around 6 - 7 in the evening (either while I'm cooking my own dinner or right after I eat it, lol!) I often can "catch" them making a latte. But the 5 families that are on my "main" user account which have their daytime when it's my daytime too, I've never managed to "catch" them either.

i finally managed to get most of mine having lattes by taking them near the kitchen between 6-10 and dropping them several times as long as one of the statements they make is making breakfast, sometimes it takes a few times before latte comes up. hope that helps. also works switching time like it says above and doing the same thing.

I find by reversing day/night and dropping a person over and over again on the blender - then praising them for making coffee and continuing to drop - they eventually make a latte. I just did this successfully with three different families tonight.
