i got an event where the next door neighbor asked if he could build a bird house in my backyard to attract more birds, i said yes and he thanked me and handed me a bill for $285!!!! the sucky part is i was trying to save up money to buy the baby boost to get twins, and i had saved up to $290 so now im down to $5!!! see if im EVER nice to him again!!!!

I had a "mysterious stranger" who offered to buy my collectables. I told him no...I'm sure it would have been bad had I said yes.

im sure it would have! im thinking about saying no to everyone from now on!

im also going to quit reading my emails!! i had gotten them back to $88 and i got an email about cupcakes (second time i got that one) and they took $54 out of my bank!

i got an email about someone's boss falling of his lawnmover and everyone was chipping into buy one and they took 40 bucks

And.....I just checked my email... one of my families "offered" to bake cupcakes for the community center, but since they didn't get delivered in time, the community center deducted $24 from our account. *sniff*

However, in my other family, my dress designer got a promotion! WOOHOO!

yea ive had the cupcake one twice! they took $42 out the first time and $54 the second! and like its OUR fault that they cant mow the yard without falling off!

I got one where someone in one of person's family had a baby at work and my 'share' of the gift came to $50 so phfff! went away the $50! I wish we could decide if we wanted to accept the emails or not, like we could in VV where you could decide if you wanted to open the crates that showed up or not, that would be wonderful!

I've had two people try to train my family in their jobs. Once I did it and she didn't learn a thing. And another time this guy was going to train the husband in something else but I said no.

DON'T have somebody train your family or have them try to teach them a new skill UNLESS you want to lose some needed money.

I had the one with the birdhouse and it wiped my bank account to 0. Then I had the one where they offer to train you at your job for $5. No training AND they eat all of your food. Mine went from 1500 to 0.

Wow, I haven't had too many bad things happen yet like you folks have. Most of the emails and events have added money(albeit little) to my account. Money is very hard to come by in the game, thats for sure.

My professional personal cook was working on her career when she got an email. Now, in her family, no one is allowed to touch the TV or the Computers, as both her and her husband are both professional personal cooks. I make an exception whith emails, from time to time, but no browsing the internet. So, after she was done, I put her husband on the counter and took her to the computer. I had her read the email and it said she had infringed copywright by using one of her fellow cook's copywrited recipes! She lost $76 and all the training I had put toward her raise! In my other family I got an Email from the women saying she thought it was time to have a baby(I engourage sending me emails, btw), so I put heron the man and they argued that it wasn't time to have a baby yet, so I dropped the man on the women, and they argued yet again! These stupid people!

I've probably had 2 good ones, out of about 20+ events now.

Nah, you just have to start collecting all over again. You get a lot of money selling them. Good when you have lazy parents like mine.

I had an email where a guy was thanking me for the oatmeal raisin cookies i baked for his party, and then he said but one of the raisins was hard and chipped my tooth so i had to go to the dentist, your half of the bill is 80 dollars
