System version:
Win7, build 7000, version 6.1.7000 beta

Bug:
After clicking on quit, VF minimizes, however stays open. Problem is it is not clickable anymore, nor closeable. Moving mouse on the window hides cursor(window overlapping cursor). Closing it via (right click dock, close window) doesn't work. Had to end progress via task manager.

Note:
I found 2 Virtual Families.exe running. Using 250 kb to 500 kb memory AFTER the problems above.

Addtional testing:
Only happens when I play the game for like 30 minutes or more.

PSR report:
Unable to post report since I don't want it running for 30 min.

Fine print:
I use dock as a term for superbar, for non geeks that's taskbar in windows 7.

No offense, but shouldn't this be in technical support?

Unfortunately, Windows 7 is still in beta and is not a commercially available operating system. For that reason, we cannot diagnose bugs when the game is running in a beta environment.

It is normal for there to be two processes running for our games, so that's not part of the problem. When we've seen hangs on quit in Vista, it's usually a problem with audio drivers or low-level audio routines, which could also be likely in Windows 7, which is based on Vista.

Using Task Manager to end the game will not normally cause any damage to the savegame files in this situation.
