I was wondering if there is more than one way to get a particular fish. I.e. for the golden goldbulb in my first game i got it by breeding the twin-fin beta with the silky fatfish, and in my second game I got it by breeding the greenfin spotanus with the pink shark. So in my second game if i did the first breeding combination i.e. twin-fin beta with the silky fatfish, would it still give me a golden goldbulb? or is each combination just for that individual game. Sorry if that was a little complicated I didnt know a better way to express it. Thanks!
The genetic combinations are repeatable, and don't change from game to game. For some fish, there are only a handful of combinations that will produce it, and for others there are over 200 combinations. There are also some fins and some bodies that can only be obtained from eggs.

Hex is on to something here. If you have a couple of goldbulbs with different fin types, start breeding them until you get the magical fish. Once you know what type of fish you are looking for, all it takes is time. We all have that right? Time is on our side.
