I have been playing the free online version of Fish Tycoon and have decided to download the full version here at LDW and purchase.

My question is: Can I download the game, then transfer the downloaded file to a cd? (i.e. burn the downloaded file to a cd?) I want to do that as to archive the download in case I lose my computer hard drive or some other catastrophe occurs.

Okay, so I've downloaded the game installer file for Fish Tycoon, though I haven't yet purchased it since I want to make certain it runs okay on my pc, which is some 7 years old. When I attempt to copy the file to my cd, I get the following screen message:

Should I just click YES? What extra information might I lose? What does CONFIRM STREAM LOSS mean? Thanks in advance for any answers. Don't you just detest a stupid computer user . . .

Just click yes to copy the file. The message has to do with file system data that exists on the hard drive that doesn't apply to the CD's file system structure. The file will be fine. You can always run the setup file to test it after you finish writing the CD, if you want to be sure.
