What is the deal with the bug collectibles? I know they only show up when it rains, but is there something else that has to happen too? Whenever it rains, I look non-stop for them. Nothing. I have at least half of all of the other collectibles but haven't seen a single bug.

they are harder to find cause they blend in with the lawn

The bugs DO appear when it's not raining, but they come out more when it rains.

I've only ever seen them while it's raining, never after it's stopped. I suppose one might still be there for a little while if it appeared just before the rain stopped. Not that I've found many bugs so far anyway ...

I haven't seen a single bug either. I have 3 families going, over 2/3 of each of the other collectables, but not one bug. I search very carefully every time it rains, during and after, and slowly scan the entire yard for hours. Do the bugs have the sparklies that you get with the other collectables?

Yes, but I think the sparkles don't show up so well when it's raining. Also, as virtualruler said, they blend in with the background.

is it too early to start releasing mods of the image files? i have one that has red yellow and blue marks on collectibles to make them easier to spot. but maybe it is too soon?
